I have been having some problems with my video and decided to see if I could update my drivers. Not Good. The Aero interface is gone and replaced with the regular version, which is not too bad either, but I love the Aero. So will it come back automatically when my drivers somehow are fixed or do I just have to do a reinstall?

Graphic problem - Vista is gone
Have you tried going into Visual Appearance and reselected Aero?

I think you should be able to roll back to the previously installed driver. From Start Button, search for device manager. Right click on the device manager application, click run as administrator. Under Display adapters should be your video card. Right click on Properties. Under the driver tab, there should be a Roll Back Driver button.
Good luck.

I did the same thing, thinking the beta 64-bit drivers from nVidia would improve things. NOT. Lost Aero, so I uninstalled and let Vista reinstall its own drivers and now all is good.
Same here. I did also reinstall my Catalyst Drivers for vista and all is well.
